Decision Making
Before any work is done, there will be a planning phase. In this phase we are looking over all the details, providing an estimate, showing you the types of shingles and colors of shingles and getting ready for the installation to take place.
Prep
When the crew arrives onsite they will prepare the area, laying down tarps and creating a plan for the removal of the old roof and the installation of the new roof.
Out With the Old
The old roof needs to come off before the new one can go on. It’s not recommended that you put a new roof on top of an old roof. We will go to it removing the old shingles and preparing the roof. When the old shingles have been removed, we can then see if there are any boards or other elements that need to be replaced at the same time. We will make sure to check sunlights for leaks as well.
In With the New
Once the old shingles are removed, our crew will install the underlayment, which provides protection for your home against leaks. It also allows shingles to lay flat. From here, shingles are installed.
The amount of time this all takes will depend on several factors, including the size of your house and the weather. We will always do the work as quickly and efficiently as we possibly can.
Cleanup
Roofing is a messy job and not without noise. However, we will work done in the shortest amount of time possible and our crew will make sure the site is cleaned up when the work is completed.
