BUFFALO CHICKEN DIP
2 cups shredded chicken (fresh, canned…whatever works for you!)
1 8oz cream cheese (light cream cheese is ok but I wouldn’t recommend fat free on this one)
1/2 cup hot sauce (my personal preference is Franks RedHot Buffalo Sauce)
1/2 cup ranch OR blue cheese dressing (your choice)
1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles
Green Onions – sliced thin
Mix together the chicken, cream cheese, hot sauce, ranch/blue cheese dressing and the blue cheese crumbles until well combined. Place into an 8 x 8 baking dish or round pie plate and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Top with green onions before serving.
Serve with celery sticks and crackers…my personal favorite are Chicken in a Biskit crackers 🙂
LOADED BAKED POTATO DIP
1 16oz container sour cream
2 cups sharp cheddar cheese (fresh shredded is best for this recipe)
1/3 cup sliced chives OR 1/3 cup green onions – chopped fine
1 package bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled OR 1 (2.1oz) package of fully cooked bacon, cooked according to package and crumbled
2 tsp hot sauce
1 bag frozen waffle fries
Cook bacon crisp (or according to the package if you choose pre-cooked bacon). Drain and cool on paper towels and then crumble. Mix together bacon, sour cream, cheese, chives and hot sauce. Cover and chill for 1-24 hours before serving.
Serve with crispy hot waffle fries. Veggies to dip…optional 😉
