Exceptional Teacher: Kim Hay

Kim is a Special Education teacher, and teaches 6th through 8th grades. She is an exceptional teacher because she cares for each and everyone of her students, always going the extra mile. During this pandemic, there have been no 8 hour days. She is there for them well into the evening hour and on the weekend if a student needs her help. She is a leader in the bringing to all special kids new ways of learning and incorporating them into everyday life. She does all of this and still finds time to parent her 12 year old triplets.
