Every month, my wife Kathy and I make a point to do something new we haven’t done before. We are just days away from a pretty big something… a journey through the Holy Land, the stage of all the stories we’ve read and heard through the Old and New Testaments. And we’re really excited about this opportunity.
Turns out a lot of people make that pilgrimage to the place where God set in motion what we know is the history of the world. I expect those joining us on our trip will be touched in a pretty significant way. You know by understanding our past as human beings, as followers of Jesus we just may be able to have a deeper appreciation for what the future may bring. But you know what, to have hope in the future, we have to know there’s something much bigger beyond the challenges that we face in front of us right now. Do you know what the word “gospel” means? It simply means “good news.” Could you use some good news right now?
