The Engagement Academy

The Engagement Academy is Christ-centered and family focused. We will make every effort to educate children while also engaging their parents, extended family, local churches and community members. We are a unique school that provides broad-based learning approaches and experiences that bring about comprehensive education and engagement for the long-term success of students, their families and our community.
The Engagement Academy is unique in the approach to support the family and the community by focusing on the following:
● Family-focused – Our efforts will be tailored to the needs of the family. We believe that in a good educational environment it is the system that must serve the families and not the families that serve the system. Parents are responsible for educating their children and we must not allow them to abdicate this privilege to us or others. Parents will answer to God for their children, not educators, therefore we will partner with families by giving support. Those reasons are why we are considered an independent school and not a private school.
● Mentor Supported – Every student will be matched to a trained and supported mentor who will assist in helping the student discover their individual values and identity.
● Prayer Partner – Each student will be connected to a person who will be praying regularly for the specific needs of the student.
● Proactive Tutors – Our tutors will help address specific skill gaps while aiding our students to excel in at least one subject matter.
● Skills Coaches – Every student has a gift, talent or passion waiting to be discovered, and they will be given applicable coaching in order for the them to bloom in that area.
