Taproot Theater is offering sensory-friendly performances of A Charlie Brown Christmas this holiday season! The theater aims to make the experience pleasurable and fun for everyone by increasing lighting in the seating area, lowering the sound, selling fewer tickets to allow more space between patrons, and allowing attendees to bring fidget toys and electronic devices with headphones. The initiative is part of Taproot Theater’s efforts to make the show accommodating, relaxing, and special for all.
We want to hear about the people and businesses you know doing good work and truly Catching the Spirit of kindness in the community. You can tell us about them here. Special thanks to Davis Law Group for helping us recognize those in our community doing good.

We wanted to give everybody the chance to be able to experience it at a way that is pleasurable and fun. You’re going to be experiencing increased lighting in the seating area and house. The sound is going to be a little bit lower. We also sell fewer tickets to that one on purpose, so there can be more movement and space between the patrons. You’re welcome to bring fidget toys. You can bring tablets and other electronic devices with headphones. We hope to make this as accommodating and relaxing and fun and special for everybody.
Erica:
Loving people, and putting the spotlight on others. That’s what Christmas is all about Charlie Brown. A big thanks to Snoopy and the whole gang at Taproot Theater for catching the Christmas Spirit in Seattle.
